What we collect and why

Forms. When you book a demo or write to us, we process the data you enter - name, company, work e-mail, phone number and the content of your message. We use it solely to answer you and, where it leads to one, to prepare and perform an agreement. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries).

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used - which pages are read, how visitors arrive, and where they leave. This runs only if you consent to analytics cookies. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent), which you may withdraw at any time.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records technical data - IP address, browser, time of request - for security and diagnostics. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and available).

What we do not do. We do not profile visitors, do not make automated decisions with legal effect, and do not sell or share personal data for anyone else's marketing.

Who receives the data

Your data may be made available to: our hosting provider; providers of accounting, legal and audit services; the analytics provider named above; and public authorities where the law requires it. Each of them processes data on our instructions, under a written data processing agreement, and only to the extent needed to provide their service.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area. Using Google Analytics means some data may be transferred to the United States. Such transfers take place on the basis of the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, additionally, standard contractual clauses. If you do not consent to analytics cookies, no such transfer occurs.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an agreement: up to 12 months from the last contact. Data related to a concluded agreement: for the term of the agreement and then until claims become time-barred. Accounting records: 5 years from the end of the calendar year in which the tax obligation arose. Analytics data: according to the retention period configured in the analytics tool, no longer than 14 months.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data and receive a copy of it; to have it corrected; to have it erased; to have its processing restricted; to object to processing based on our legitimate interest; and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, write to dataprotection@topthor.com. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time - this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority - the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.

Providing your data is voluntary, but without it we cannot answer your enquiry or enter into an agreement with you.

Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies. Necessary cookies keep the site working - they remember your language and your cookie choices, and they cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies tell us how the site is used; they run only after you agree to them.

When you first visit, a banner asks which categories you accept. You can change your decision at any time through the link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Every browser also lets you block cookies entirely - in that case parts of the site may stop working as intended.

Changes to this policy

If the way we process data changes, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Where the change affects processing based on your consent, we will ask for that consent again.
